Jennifer Giottonini Cayer

Jennifer Cayer is Pulmocide’s Chief Business Officer, and she brings 25 years of biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device experience. She has held a variety of executive leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer at Rempex Pharmaceuticals Inc. Jennifer cofounded several biotech companies funded by blue chip venture investors that were subsequently acquired by global pharmaceutical companies or became publicly traded companies. She has executed multiple strategic alliances with pharmaceutical and biotech companies worth more than $5 billion, including mergers and acquisitions, drug licensing, technology licensing, drug discovery and development, collaborations, and company spinouts. She is a board member of multiple biotech companies and academic research institutions, including MatriSys Biosciences, DevaCell, the University of California, San Diego Cancer Center (currently serving as Chairman of the Board), and Biocom California. Jennifer is the Founding Co-Chair of the Biocom Global Partnering Conference.

Jennifer graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.S. in bioengineering.
